A “true” custom suit made on the lap of a good tailor in New York, Beverly Hills, London or Rome costs $5000 to $10,000 a reflection of their labor, the rents, and in the case of the US cities, the 30% customs duty tariffs to import a good English or Italian cloth! If made in a made-to-measure approach, cut from standard block patterns and put together on a factory production line, along with the customs duty, a suit of these fine fabrics is still at least $4000.
We’ve put together the right combination of how and where to make our clothes, how to make the client’s experience as brief and convenient as possible in the ordering and receiving of new clothing.

By ordering fabrics from Europe and shipping these fabrics direct to our overseas workshop, a duty free port, we avoid the 30% custom duty fabric import cost!
By taking our Italian tailor to our Hong Kong workshop and having him teach his “secret”, intensive techniques in the making of the very finest of quality custom suits, and by paying our tailors double the normal rate in Hong Kong to spend the necessary time to make the finest quality of suits in the Orient, we’ve “trumped” all other approches by combining the best fitting with the best made clothing that one can find anywhere!
By making clothing at our overseas workshop in Hong Kong, where the British tradition of making individual patterns for each client survives, we’re able to provide a better more precise fit to our clients, and by ordering and shipping the worlds finest fabrics duty free from England or Italy, we’re able to turn a $5000 to $10,000 suit out for between $2500 and $5000 at the higher end!
Because we have the ability to deliver one perfect outfit after another, there is no need for our clients to come in to pick up new clothing, We ship 80% out with co-ordinated custom shirts and ties.
By suggesting ideas for new clothing and emailing or mailing several fabric swatch sheets from our 200 sheet portfolio, combined with our experience, formulas and client records, we have the infrastructure and ability to discuss ideas and take orders by phone, adjusting for any changes in fit or style.
For those who like an organized approach, our unique Wardrobe Plan sets dates every 3,4 or 6 months to put ideas in front of clients while their Selection budgets accumulate to efficiently apply to their orders, at savings from 20 to 33%, given the efficiency and the rewards of being a “Plan Client”! Many clients are in their 20 th to 45th year of uninterrupted Plan participation!
